1 lb (450g) beef sirloin, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided

1 bell pepper, sliced (any color)

1 cup broccoli florets

1 medium carrot, julienned

1 cup snap peas

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Cooked rice or noodles (for serving)

Optional garnishes: sesame seeds and sliced green onions

Marinate the Beef: In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced beef sirloin with soy sauce and cornstarch. Stir well until the beef is thoroughly coated. Allow it to marinate for approximately 10 minutes while you prepare the vegetables.

    Prepare the Vegetables: While the beef is marinating, wash and slice the bell pepper, cut the broccoli into florets, julienne the carrot, and trim the snap peas. Set the prepared vegetables aside for later use.

      Heat the Oil: In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot and shimmering.

        Cook the Beef: Carefully add the marinated beef in a single layer to the skillet. Let it cook undisturbed for about 2-3 minutes until the underside is nicely browned.
