Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops (approximately 1 inch thick)

1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix

1 cup panko breadcrumbs (for extra crunch)

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it’s hot enough to achieve that perfect golden crust on your pork chops.

Mix the Coating: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir together until all the dry ingredients are well incorporated and evenly mixed.

Prepare the Pork Chops: Use paper towels to pat the pork chops dry, which removes excess moisture and allows the coating to stick better. After drying, brush each chop generously with olive oil on both sides to help the coating adhere.

Coat the Chops: Take each pork chop and dip it into the breadcrumb mixture. Make sure both sides are fully coated, pressing down slightly to ensure the breadcrumbs adhere well to the meat.

Arrange in Baking Dish: Place the coated pork chops side by side in a single layer in a greased baking dish. Ensure they are not overcrowded to promote even cooking.

Bake: Put the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. Cook until the pork chops are cooked through (an internal temperature of 145°F or 63°C) and the coating has turned a beautiful golden brown.

Garnish & Serve: Once baked, remove the pork chops from the oven and let them rest for about 5 minutes to retain their juices. Before serving, sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley for a burst of color and flavor.

Enjoy: Serve the pork chops hot alongside your favorite sides, such as creamy mashed potatoes or lightly steamed vegetables, to make each crunchy, savory bite enjoyable!
