8 oz cream cheese, softened at room temperature

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

8 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled into small pieces

1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

½ tsp freshly ground black pepper

¼ cup green onions, finely chopped (optional)

Sea salt, to taste

All-purpose flour, for dusting

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

    Prepare Puff Pastry: Lightly dust your work surface with flour. Unroll the thawed puff pastry sheet and use a rolling pin to gently roll it out, making it slightly larger and smoother. Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice the pastry into 1-inch wide strips.

      Make the Cheese Filling: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and chopped green onions (if you're using them). Stir the mixture thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
