Ingredients

12 soft slider buns

1 lb ground turkey

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). To simplify cleanup, line a baking dish with parchment paper.

Prepare the Turkey Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, shredded cheddar, shredded mozzarella, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until the ingredients are well blended, taking care not to overmix, as this can make the turkey tough.

Form the Sliders: Divide the turkey mixture into 12 equal portions. Shape each portion into a small patty that fits nicely within the slider buns.

Cook the Sliders: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the turkey patties to the skillet, cooking for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and register an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Once cooked, remove the patties from heat and allow them to cool slightly.

Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until the sauce is smooth and well combined; this sauce will add a delightful flavor to your sliders.

Assemble the Sliders: Take the slider buns and slice them in half horizontally. Spread a generous layer of the sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place a turkey patty on top of the sauce, and then add the top half of the bun. Repeat this process until all 12 sliders are assembled.

Bake the Sliders: Arrange the assembled sliders in the prepared baking dish. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven, baking for about 15 minutes. For a beautiful golden finish, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes.

Garnish and Serve: After baking, remove the sliders from the oven. Sprinkle with finely chopped parsley for a fresh touch and serve warm, alongside any extra sauce for dipping. Enjoy this delightful treat!
