Ingredients

2 cups frozen mixed berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries)

1 cup Greek yogurt (choose plain for a tart flavor or vanilla for sweetness)

1 cup fresh spinach (optional, for a nutrient boost)

1 ripe banana, sliced

1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust based on desired sweetness)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional, for added texture and nutritional benefits)

Instructions

Blend the Ingredients: In a high-speed blender, combine the frozen mixed berries, Greek yogurt, spinach (if you're including it), banana slices, almond milk, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and chia seeds. Blend on high speed until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy, ensuring no lumps remain.

Taste and Adjust: After blending, taste the smoothie mixture. If you prefer it sweeter, stir in additional honey or syrup. If the mixture is too thick for your liking, mix in more almond milk until it reaches your desired consistency.

Pour into Ice Cube Trays: Carefully pour the blended smoothie mixture into silicone ice cube trays or any freezer-safe mold. Be sure to leave a bit of space at the top of each cube section to allow for expansion as the mixture freezes.

Freeze: Place the filled trays in the freezer and allow them to freeze for a minimum of 4-6 hours, or until the smoothie cubes are completely solid.

Store the Smoothie Cubes: Once fully frozen, gently remove the smoothie cubes from the trays and transfer them to a resealable freezer bag. Be sure to label the bag with the date, and store it in the freezer where they will keep well for up to 3 months.

Serve as Needed: When you’re ready to enjoy a refreshing smoothie, blend 2-3 of the frozen smoothie cubes with one cup of your choice of liquid (such as additional almond milk, coconut water, or fruit juice) until the mixture is smooth and vibrant. Feel free to add fresh fruits or greens for an extra nutritional punch if desired!

Prep Time, Total Time, Servings: 15 minutes | 6-8 hours (including freezing time) | 12 cubes (approximately 4 servings)

                - Presentation Tips: Serve your smoothie in a chilled glass, optionally garnished with fresh berries and a mint sprig for a pop of color and freshness.
