Ingredients

2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries, hulled and halved

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust based on sweetness preference)

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or flavored)

¼ cup chia seeds

½ cup almond milk (or your choice of milk)

A pinch of salt

Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Blend the Strawberries:

In a blender, add the hulled and halved strawberries along with the honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth, but consider leaving a few small chunks for added texture if you prefer.

      Prepare the Yogurt Mixture:

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, chia seeds, almond milk, and a pinch of salt. Stir the mixture thoroughly until it's well blended and the chia seeds are evenly distributed throughout the yogurt.

          Layer the Ingredients:

Take a square or rectangular baking dish (approximately 8x8 inches) and pour half of the blended strawberry mixture evenly across the bottom. Following this, gently spread the yogurt and chia seed mixture over the strawberry layer.

              Add the Final Strawberry Layer:

Pour the remaining strawberry blend over the yogurt layer, ensuring it fully covers the yogurt for a beautiful presentation. Use a spatula to delicately swirl the layers together, creating an appealing marbled effect.

                  Freeze the Mixture:

Place the baking dish in the freezer for a minimum of 4-6 hours, or until the mixture is completely firm to the touch. After the first hour in the freezer, cover the dish with plastic wrap to prevent ice crystals from forming on the surface.

                      Cut and Serve the Squares:

Once the squares have frozen solid, remove the baking dish from the freezer. Allow it to sit at room temperature for about 5-10 minutes to soften slightly for easier slicing. Use a sharp knife to cut the frozen mixture into evenly sized squares.

                          Garnish and Delight:

Serve the yogurt squares immediately, adding a sprig of fresh mint on top of each piece for an elegant touch. Enjoy your refreshing and wholesome treat!
