1/2 cup almond butter (or your choice of nut butter)

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon allspice

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup molasses

1/4 cup chopped walnuts (or pecans)

1/4 cup dried cranberries (or raisins)

1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions
 

Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, add the rolled oats, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, allspice, and salt. Stir these ingredients together thoroughly until they are well mixed and evenly distributed.

    Mix Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine the almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), and molasses. Using a whisk or fork, mix them together until the mixture is smooth and homogenous.

      Combine Mixtures: Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Using a spatula or wooden spoon, stir the mixture continuously until all components are well combined. The final mixture should be thick and able to hold together when pressed.
