1 package (20 oz) frozen hash brown patties

1 lb breakfast sausage (select mild or spicy based on your flavor preference)

6 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (for extra flavor)

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp smoked paprika

12 King’s Hawaiian rolls (or similarly sweet dinner rolls)

Optional: sliced green onions for garnish

Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to preheat at 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

    Bake the Hash Brown Patties: Evenly place the frozen hash brown patties on the lined baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. They should turn golden brown and crispy. Once done, remove from the oven and set aside.

      Cook the Breakfast Sausage: Over medium heat in a skillet, crumble the breakfast sausage. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sausage is browned and cooked through, which should take about 5-7 minutes. After cooking, drain any excess grease and set the sausage aside.

        Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until well combined. Using the same skillet that contained the sausage (wipe out any grease if necessary), pour in the egg mixture. Cook on medium heat, stirring and scrambling gently until the eggs just begin to set, around 3-4 minutes. Remove from the heat and immediately stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.

          Assemble the Sliders: Carefully slice each King’s Hawaiian roll in half horizontally, creating a top and bottom for each slider.
