Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)

2 cups fresh broccoli florets

1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cream of mushroom soup

1/2 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 cup beef broth

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet or an oven-safe pan set over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking the meat into smaller pieces with a spatula. Continue cooking until the beef is browned and cooked through. If there's excess grease, drain it off.

Combine Ingredients: To the skillet with the cooked beef, add the cooked rice, fresh broccoli florets, shredded cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth. Stir well to combine all ingredients evenly.

Set the Base: Spread the beef and broccoli mixture evenly across the bottom of the skillet, ensuring it’s evenly distributed for consistent cooking.

Add Topping: Evenly sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the beef and broccoli mixture, creating a cheesy layer that will melt beautifully.

Bake: Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and has reached a slight golden color on the surface.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove the skillet from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes. Before serving, garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and freshness. Serve warm and savor the delicious flavors!
