Ingredients

2 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie chicken is ideal)

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened to room temperature

1 cup shredded Pepper Jack cheese

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1/2 packet ranch seasoning mix (approximately 2 tablespoons)

1/2 cup diced jalapeños (use fresh or pickled based on preference; adjust quantity for desired heat)

1/2 cup chopped green onions (plus additional for garnish)

1/2 cup crumbled bacon

Salt and pepper to taste

Tortilla chips or sliced veggies for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it reaches the right temperature for baking.

Prepare the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and creamy, ensuring there are no lumps.

Incorporate the Cheeses: Add in the shredded Pepper Jack cheese and blend it into the cream mixture. Stir until the cheese is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

Mix in Additional Ingredients: To the creamy cheese base, add the shredded chicken, ranch seasoning mix, diced jalapeños, chopped green onions, and crumbled bacon. Use a spatula or wooden spoon to combine all ingredients gently, making sure everything is evenly coated and mixed.

Taste and Adjust Seasoning: Taste the dip mixture and season with salt and pepper to your liking. If you prefer a spicier dip, feel free to add more jalapeños at this stage.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Spoon the prepared dip mixture into an 8x8 inch (or similar size) baking dish, spreading it evenly for uniform baking.

Bake to Perfection: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbling and the top is slightly golden and crispy.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove the dip from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. For a finishing touch, garnish with additional chopped green onions if desired. Serve warm with tortilla chips or fresh sliced veggies for dipping.
