Ingredients

For the Wings:

2 lbs chicken wings

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust based on your spice preference)

For the Spicy Mango Drizzle:

1 ripe mango, peeled and diced

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 teaspoon red chili flakes (adjust based on your heat preference)

1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prep the Chicken Wings:

Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and then pat them dry thoroughly using paper towels. In a large mixing bowl, combine the wings with the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. Toss the wings until they are evenly coated with the seasoning. For the best flavor, let the wings marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes, or refrigerate them overnight for deeper flavor infusion.

      Make the Spicy Mango Drizzle:

In a blender or food processor, add the diced mango, honey, soy sauce, lime juice, grated ginger, and red chili flakes. Blend the mixture until it's smooth and all the ingredients are well incorporated. Taste the drizzle and adjust the sweetness with additional honey or increase the heat with more red chili flakes, depending on your preference.

          Cook the Wings:

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil for easy cleanup, and place a wire rack on top. This will allow for even cooking and crispy wings. Arrange the marinated chicken wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 35-40 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through the cooking time, until they are golden, crispy, and cooked through.

              Glaze the Wings:

Once the wings have reached a perfect crispy texture, remove them from the oven. Pour the spicy mango drizzle over the hot wings and toss them carefully to ensure each wing is thoroughly coated in the sauce. For an enhanced flavor, consider placing the glazed wings back in the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes. This allows the glaze to caramelize slightly, adding richness to the dish.

                  Serve:

Arrange the beautifully glazed wings on a serving platter. Drizzle any remaining mango sauce over the top for an extra burst of flavor. Garnish with a sprinkle of fresh cilantro to enhance the presentation. Serve with lime wedges on the side for an added zesty kick!

Presentation Tips: For an inviting display, consider serving the wings on a wooden board lined with parchment paper and add small bowls of extra mango drizzle for dipping.
