Instructions

Prepare the Meatballs:

    - In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, panko breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, minced garlic, beaten egg, soy sauce, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

      - Using your hands, gently mix the ingredients until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the meatballs tender.

        Form the Meatballs:

          - Shape the mixture into meatballs about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. Arrange the meatballs on a parchment-lined baking sheet to prevent sticking.

            Bake the Meatballs:

              - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the meatballs for approximately 20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).

Prepare the Sticky Garlic Teriyaki Sauce:

                  - In a medium saucepan set over medium heat, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Stir to dissolve the sugar and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

                    - Once simmering, add the cornstarch slurry, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens, which should take around 2-3 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the heat once the sauce reaches your desired consistency.

                      Coat the Meatballs:

                        - After baking, transfer the meatballs to a large mixing bowl and drizzle the sticky garlic teriyaki sauce over them. Gently toss until the meatballs are well coated in the sauce.

                          Assemble the Bowls:

                            - In serving bowls, spoon a generous portion of cooked jasmine rice as the base. Top the rice with the sticky garlic teriyaki meatballs and a serving of steamed broccoli. Drizzle any remaining teriyaki sauce on top for added flavor.

                              Garnish:

                                - Finish the dish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and sliced green onions for an extra burst of flavor and a beautiful presentation.
