      Mash Chickpeas: In a mixing bowl, add the drained chickpeas. Using a fork or potato masher, mash them until they are mostly smooth with some chunky pieces remaining for texture.

        Combine Ingredients: Add the squeezed zucchini, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese (or nutritional yeast), finely chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to the bowl with mashed chickpeas. Mix everything together thoroughly until well combined.
